Free Fishing across Washington this Weekend | Environment
Don't worry this weekend if you don't have a fishing license in Washington state. It's a free fishing weekend Saturday and Sunday, June 11th and 12th.
All weekend long you don't need a permit to fish in any open waters. You also don't need to worry about getting a vehicle parking permit to park at any of Washington's 600 water-access sites.
Of course be sure to follow all rules and regulations such as size and bag limits.
Anglers are still required to fill out catch paperwork if they catch any salmon, steelhead, sturgeon or halibut they catch. Free catch record cards are available at sporting goods stores and licensed dealers throughout the state.
Fishing regulations are online at the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
